Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) will host a fringe event at the Liverpool International Festival for Business, aiming to educate businesses about reuse and waste prevention. It will also showcase WASTECOSMART and the flourishing Circular Economy in the Liverpool City Region.
The Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) will show the commercial benefits of re-use and waste prevention to a large business audience at the Liverpool International Festival for Business on June 22.
The Edge Fringe Festival promises 'Beer, Bikes and Buffet' and an interactive re-use marketplace, offering tips on how to upcycle your business.
A wide range of local businesses, social enterprises and community organisations active in the Merseyside region will be represented at the event, including food producers which save money and resources by using up leftovers to make new dishes, furniture upcyclers promoting reuse and reducing landfill, and urban farmers who use aquaponics to reduce land, water and energy use.
